Follow previous information related with a missing diver, who had dived to "ZINOVIA"wreck yesterday October 26th, the JRCC LARNACA informs that the operation is completed on 27 October at 11:00, upon localization and recovery of the missing diver, unfortunately with no any vital signs.
Teams of experienced divers from the Port and Maritime Police, the Police Air Operations Unit and the Underwater Demolition Unit of the National Guard participated in the long underwater search. Specialized teams from private diving centers also participated in the operation on a voluntary basis.
Due to the nature of the underwater operations, the JRCC LARNACA expresses its gratitude to all the teams involved, who responded immediately and contributed with their professionalism to the recovery of the missing diver.
