On Friday, the 10th of July 2020, the new Defense Attache of the United States of America in Cyprus, Colonel Roger Bowman, accompanied by the former DA, Colonel Andrew Mack, visited JRCC.
The new Defense Attachθ was briefed by the Commander and Staff of JRCC on the Organization and Operation of the Center, as well as on its regional role and significance. Additionally, issues of common interest were discussed in the framework of the further development of the existing cooperation of the 2 countries in Search and Rescue, and also in the support of peace and humanitarian operations, such as Non-combatant Evacuation Operations (NEO) in crisis area.
