Delegation of the JRCC Larnaca participated in a two-day seminar with subject "Dual Use Marine Technologies in Cyprus" which was held on 08-09th of November in Limassol.

This seminar was organized by the Cyprus University of Technology in cooperation with foreign and Cypriot organizations to provide information on issues related to existing scientific knowledge and the use of this technology in the field of surveillance, Search and Rescue, safety at sea.

The main objective of this workshop is to bring together marine technology providers and operators to share the latest advancements and user requirements of dual use marine technology.

During the seminar a JRCC Officer presented to the participants the structure of the Cyprus SAR System, the capabilities of JRCC Larnaca and it’s role in Eastern Mediterranean Region.
