The JRCC announces that between 18 and 20 of April, a delegation of the Center consisted of 2 officers, carried out the Basic Training on Search and Rescue (SAR) to officials of the 13 member-states, of the Regional Aeronautical Search and Rescue Advisory Committee (RASARAC) and more specifically Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and FΥRΟΜ.

RASARAC is an inter-Balkan Committee, co-organized by the Civil Aviation Directorate (CAD) of Serbia and EUROCONTROL, aiming to formalize and improve regional cross-border cooperation for the efficient conduct of aeronautical SAR operations.

The provided by the JRCC training constitutes an international recognition of the Center’s capabilities to become a node of providing Search and Rescue (SAR) services as well as an International Training Centre providing expertise in humanitarian and SAR missions.
