On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, a delegation from 85th C/SAR Squadron, of the Italian Air Force, paid an informative visit to JRCC Larnaca premises, within the framework of the Bilateral Defense Cooperation program between Cyprus and Italy.
The delegation was briefed on the Organization and Operation of the Center, as well as on the important role it plays in the Eastern Mediterranean on issues relating to Search And Rescue and supporting peacekeeping and humanitarian operations.
Additionally, discussion held regarding research and rescue and the further upgrading of cooperation between the two countries in this field were discussed.
