On Tuesday, 13th of March 2018, the 1st coordinating meeting of the 3rd Phase of the Multinational CIMIC Exercise ARGONAUT 2018 took place at the JRCC Larnaca premises. The 3rd phase is dealing with confrontation Search and Rescue incidents that may occur either on Passenger Ships or Aircrafts during massive evacuation operations (NEO) in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The agencies of Greece, France, UK, USA, Italy and Egypt that will involve in the 3rd Phase of the Exercise, participated in the meeting that was organized and coordinated by the JRCC.

The aim of the meeting was to examine the proposed Scenario of the Search and Rescue phase (Day and Night), to establish the timetable and to exchange views, pursuant the actual performance in the field on the 22th until 25th of May 2018.
