On Tuesday, March 22nd, Mr. Antonis Antoniou, the new Chairman of the Aircraft Accident & Incident Investigation Board Cyprus (AAIIB), escort by the Member of the AAIIB Mr. Drousiotis Ioannis, paid an informative visit at the JRCC premises.
Mr. Antoniou was briefed by the Commander and the staff of JRCC on the Centre’s capabilities and operational structure. They discussed also the existing framework of cooperation in the event of an air accident in the Search and Rescue Area of the Republic of Cyprus, and mutually agreed to update the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between AAIIB and JRCC.
