On the 20th of September 2018, a Delegation of Alumni of the Royal College of Defense Studies paid an informative visit to the “ZENON” Coordination Center.

The delegation after being briefed on the organization and mission of the “ZENON” Coordination Center, they expressed their delight regarding the initiative of the Republic of Cyprus to establish such an important tool for the management of Migration Flows and the coordination of humanitarian operations in the Eastern Mediterranean region and Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations (NEO) of crisis areas in the Middle East.

The Head of the delegation welcomed the excellent organization and operation of the JRCC and its important role in the Eastern Mediterranean, both in Search and Rescue matters and in the support of peacekeeping and humanitarian operations.
