On November 16th and 17th, 2022,, the JRCC participated in the 15th Meeting of the Inter-Balkan RASARAC Committee, which took place in Podgorica, Montenegro.

During the meeting, which was attended by representatives from 11 Member States and observers (Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia - Herzegovina, Greece, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, North Macedonia , Hungary and the Czech Republic), an extension of the current Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, the extension of the current Memorandum of Understanding was signed, which foresees the provision of SAR training by JRCC to RASARAC member states until 2028.

The extension of the MoU and the provided SAR courses will include both theoretical and practical training in the new modern facilities and equipment of the JRCC, including specialized SAR simulators.
