On December 10th 2018, delegation of students from Cyprus Maritime Academy, headed by the Instructor of the Academy, Mr. Marios Kyriacou, visited the JRCC Larnaca.

The students were briefed on the Center’s organization, its role in case of Search and Rescue incidents, the standard procedures of the center, its available equipment, as well as for the ongoing upgraded programs of the JRCC Larnaca.

After the briefing, Mr. Kyriakou, on behalf of the delegation expressed his gratitude and satisfaction regarding the overall organization and operational readiness of the Search and Rescue System of the RoC, as well as the Center’s efficiency during the confrontation of Search and Rescue incidents held within SRR of RoC.
