On 15th November 2019, the JFHQ Commander, Brigadier General Dan Blanchford, paid an informative visit to JRCC Larnaca’s, ZEDON Coordination Center.

The British Brigadier General was briefed on how the Center was organized and operated, as well as on the role that the ZENΟΝ Coordination Center could play in the conduct of humanitarian operations in the Southeastern Mediterranean.

The JFHQ Commander, welcomed the Center's proper organization and readiness and reaffirmed its intention to continuously upgrade the cooperation between the British Forces and JRCC Larnaca on SAR related issues.
