On Thursday, 11th October 2018, the 2nd coordinating meeting of the Multinational Exercise “NEMESIS-2018” took place at the “ZENON” Coordination Meeting. The exercise is dealing with emergency incidents, including asymmetrical attacks of armed groups, search & rescue operations, sea pollution and related security and safety matters that might occur on gas and oil rigs that operate within the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the Republic of Cyprus.

All Cyprus and Foreign countries state agencies involved in the exercises participated in the meeting that was organized and coordinated by the JRCC.

The aim of the meeting was to examine the Scenario, to establish the timetable and to exchange views, pursuant the actual performance in the field on the 31st of October 2018.
