On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, the 3rd Meeting of the National SAR Coordinating Committee was held at the premises of JRCC, with the participation of the Ministers of Defence, Transport - Communications and Works, the Shipping Deputy Minister, the Director of the Civil Aviation Department, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Commander of JRCC.

The National Coordination Committee meets on an annual basis or whenever necessary, in order to examine issues and take decisions concerning the operation of the Search and Rescue System of the Republic of Cyprus and its further upgrading.
