On Friday, 2nd of July 2021, the Cyprus Joint Rescue Coordination Center received a crew delegation of the UK RAF 84th squadron, stationed at Akrotiri, for an informative visit.
The delegation was briefed by the Staff of JRCC on the Organization and Operation of the Center, as well as on its regional role in the Eastern Mediterranean. At the same time, during the briefing, the two sides discussed SAR related issues and they expressed their willingness to improve even more the existing cooperation.
