On April 5th 2021, at 17:30 the JRCC received information about the accidental fall of a paraglider in Koshi area.
A helicopter of the Cyprus Police Aviation Unit flew to the spot and transferred 1 person with multiple injuries to the Nicosia General Hospital at 17:55.
The individual is a Cypriot male, 37 years old, which suffers from multiple fractures on the lower ends and pelvis.
The Aircraft Accident & Incident Investigation Board (AAIIB) was notified, accordingly, about the accident.
