On Tuesday 07 March 2023, a delegation of Lebanese Officers and Officials, accompanied by officials from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), paid a visit to the JRCC.

The delegation was briefed by the Commander and Staff of the JRCC on how the Republic of Cyprus Search and Rescue System is organised and operates, as well as on the role that the Center is capable of playing in case the need of evacuation of civilians from a crisis area in the wider Eastern Mediterranean region arises.
